Silicon carbide can play the role of silicon increase, carbon increase, deoxidizer, temperature increase, inoculation, etc. in different links of steelmaking, and can get multiplier benefits in the steelmaking industry.

The melting point of silicon carbide is very high, around 2700C, and the disintegration absorption temperature is about 1200C. It is a compound composed of one carbon atom and one silicon atom, of which silicon accounts for 70% and carbon occupies 30% (by weight). Since the compound of silicon and oxygen is easily contained in SiO, it is often used as a deoxidizer in steelmaking.

Particle size: 10-50mm or more is a conventional product. SiC balls with different content and different particle sizes can also be produced according to customer requirements.
