SCA40/50 sintered calcium aluminate is a metallurgical auxiliary material used in steelmaking.
This is a non-metallic material mainly made of aluminate minerals. It has a low melting point, low viscosity of slag formed at steelmaking temperature, good fluidity, strong desulfurization ability, and some inclusions in the metal. It is also well absorbed. It has the characteristics of low corrosion to the furnace lining and no pollution to the environment.
SCA40/50 is a very suitable auxiliary material in the steelmaking process. Due to its early addition, it can increase the activity and
fluidity. In the process of steelmaking, it is considered to be an environmentally friendly slagging agent with better effect, and it can also be used as a covering agent for molten iron.
